Christmas.

Christmas.

This year’s celebration has been muted by the dreadful crash in Glasgow’s George Square on Monday, killing six people, including three from my home town.
The lorry crashed into the Millennium Hotel at Queen St station, just as we were sitting in the Grand Central hotel at Glasgow Central station: we are feeling lucky.
Best wishes to you all for the festive season, make the most of every minute.

  1. Such a shock about that incident and it’s good to hear that you’re ok. I wish you and Tony a wonderful Christmas and a happy and successful year of running in 2015 🙂

  2. Big hugs x we are a bit the same way with the loss of two people in the Sydney siege. I bought Lindt chocolate weeks and weeks ago for today. I opened the boxes and put them in my festive bowls with such a heavy heart. We need to embrace all the lovely things about life and Christmas in the memory of those we’ve lost x hugs x

    1. Absolutely- that was also a dreadful situation. Lindt chocs are a festive treat for us too, and I think of those poor people when I see them x

  3. I was shocked and saddened to read about events in Glasgow on Monday. I’m glad you guys were safe. We were just enjoying George Square a couple of weeks ago and it’s just heartbreaking to think about how everything can change in an instant. Makes you appreciate what you have.
