Hello! Just a quick check in from me tonight to summarise last week:

Monday: Glo!

Tuesday: Fitball Stability and Stretch and Flow, which included a taster of trigger point Pilates 👍🏻

Wednesday: JogScotland

work got in the way on Thursday night, and I managed a fair bit of walking on Saturday and Sunday. Not bad! Here’s to another good week.

Hello, I hope you’re well on this dark, misty, damp night. It seems that winter is here, and we’ve started the working week with very little daylight.

Did you have a good week last week? I did, I was back on track and stick to my healthy eating up until the end of the week, but that was all part of my plan 👍🏻

Last Monday saw the return of Glo fitness, which Jacqui has added into the mix in place of WAR during this wintry weather. It felt fantastic to get the heart rate up, with disco lights and glow sticks to boot. Wilma has the most amazing trainers with multi coloured light up soles- I love them! I burned over 450 calories so it was a solid start to the week.

Tuesday night was a double header: Fitball Stability is a real favourite and we’re ramping up the intensity with heavier weights and increased intervals. That class was then followed by PiYo Stretch and Flow which always feels good afterwards.

I made it along to JogScotland on Wednesday- hurrah! And even though I hadn’t run in weeks, I managed a steady 35 minutes with no walk breaks. I really want to keep this up during the winter so I’ll be planning to run again this week, if I’m back in time.

I missed PiYo and VeraFlow on Thursday as I was at the Steps concert! 😀🎉 They were supported by the Vengaboys and I did plenty of dancing, managing over 27,000 steps for the day.

I also managed around 15k steps on Friday and on Saturday too, so I was pretty pleased with how the week went. I enjoyed a bit of a rest day yesterday as I was busy driving home, but I’m back to my usual routine today. Here’s your motivation for today:

Have a brilliant week!

Well, it’s definitely turning wintery, the wind has a nip in it, and the temperature has dropped. Don’t you love the time of year? The only down side is the dark evenings, making it a bit more challenging to fit in running.

Last week, I had a solid week and I was almost back on track. I ate well, and I had an ace week with different classes:

Monday was the final WAR of this block, and I’m looking forward to trying out Glo again, which I haven’t done for some time. It should be great fun! Tuesday and I was back at stability ball, which was tough going: Jacqui added in weights, which was great. I wasn’t able to stay for Stretch and Flow, and I also missed Jog Scotland on Wednesday – it’s been a while since I’ve fit in a session, so I’m hoping to get along to the informal runs that are taking place between now and January.

Thursday night’s PiYo was magic: this new round is fun and challenging – and the music is awesome! We also had a return to VeraFlow, which I just love, and Jacqui introduced a mix of old and new tracks.

I’m hoping to fit in most classes this week, though I have other plans for Thursday night, so I will be missing my Piyo and VeraFlow fix. I’m sure I’ll make up for it somewhere!

Here’s your motivation for the week, if you need it:

Just a fleeting post tonight, as I’m a little rushed. I’m looking forward to a full week of classes his week, and sticking to my fitness and eating plan.

Bring it on!
