So, the weather is definitely changing: sunshine and occasional showers has given way to winds, rain and much cooler temperatures. It is most definitely autumn!
Running at this time of the year is a real joy, as there is so much colour everywhere. And who isn’t tempted to kick piles of leaves, and crunch on dried leaves as you run?
Isn’t this just gorgeous?
Speaking of gorgeous, I’ve turned on the TV to find Tarbert and Kintyre on BBC2 😀

Enjoy!
Great picture!
Thanks!
I feel like a little kid, but I love stepping on leaves when I run!
Me too!
Me three. It is so fun!
I want to make piles of them and then have someone cover me with the leaves like I did when I was a kid…or just make a big pile and then destroy it. 🙂
Great idea- I love both of those! 😉
Perfect time of year to run outdoors – not too hot and lovely colours all around to admire 🙂 !
Absolutely: it’s the best!
What a gorgeous picture. I had a fantastic autumn run as well yesterday afternoon. I’ll always love the spring and summer, but I must admit that the colder seasons have their charms as well.
There’s something to love about all seasons, I agree!
That’s what I love about living in Briitain – the changes. I love the start and end of all the seasons. But I would prefer the seasons didn’t change 5 times during the summer!
Oh, I agree with you about that!
I’m not fond of the weather changes going on right now…we actually got snow on Thursday night…boo – it’s too early for that stuff
It’s far to early for snow! 😮
I love the beauty in the colors!
Thanks; me too! 😀
I miss the autumn! Growing up in Ohio, we were thick with it, but here in Texas, not so much.
I’ll bet you don’t miss the winter quite as much, though!
That is a definite.
😀
Great pic.
The trees haven’t quite got into full swing down in the south. They’re only just starting to turn. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks we’ll have some great colour out on the Heath.
It won’t be long- if there are any leaves left matter the storm!
