Merry Christmas!
This morning, @TheWelshWookie and I have been for a run around the harbour. Santa brought me a new Ron Hill Vizion top and my brother in law and sister in law gave us new Ron Hill gloves and beanies, so I had lots of new gear to try out!
We had a good run: it was cold, and very quiet. There were hailstones as we walked home, too!
We’re now home, opening presents and feeling very lucky and spoiled while tucking into our scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and champagne.
For dinner, we’re having rib eye and proper chips instead of turkey. Yum!
My plan for the rest of the day is to watch Doctor Who, Downton Abbey and other festive treats, wearing my onesie, my new jammies and my new slippers 🙂
I hope you all have a lovely day planned: was Santa good to you? Did you run today?
Happy Christmas! I went for a run this morning as well, it was so peaceful (apart from the crazy winds!) 😉 I hope you are having a fantastic day!
Same to you 🙂
I got a new running hat with the hole for my pony tail. If the temperature wasnt 4 today, and if my throat wasnt swollen shut, I would have thought of trying out a run myself! Merry Christmas my friend! 🙂
Save it for when the kids are back at school! Merry Christmas! 🙂
What did you think of Doctor Who? We stayed up to watch it last night too and then didn’t get home until midnight. I’ll be paying for that at work today.
Oh, my: hope you’re not too tired! I thought it was brilliant! Really enjoyed it! What about you?
I thought it was pretty good, but for a Moffat episode, it didn’t have that “wow” factor I usually sense from him. I thought it was a bit slow-moving for his farewell episode and then his regeneration was SUPER fast, like BOOM – I’m Peter Capaldi now. LOL Still loved it though…always love my Who. I’ll really miss Matt Smith though. He was the first Doctor I ever saw (God Complex was my first episode) and he made me go back and start with #9.
Totally agree, it wasn’t as pacy as expected, and it was a very quick regeneration scene- pretty old school! Tom Baker and Peter Davidson were my childhood Doctors 😉
I want that breakfast!!!
It was awesome!
Happy holidays!
And to you too! 🙂
Oh wow – salmon, pajamas, and TV watching. That sounds like a pretty awesome Christmas to me! Glad you enjoyed. I did get to run! Perfect day, no traffic to get hit by or dodge.
Yay! That’s the best part of running at Christmas!
