Unfortunately, I haven’t been TartanJogging in NYC today, but many others have been 🙂
Today was the Scotland Run 10K, organised by New York Road Runners, and it kicks off Tartan Week in the city.
Lots of runners wore kilts, and ran to the skirl of the bagpipes. It looks like it was a lot of fun!
The race attracted almost 8,000 runners; I particularly liked the saltire on the race bibs!

Maybe I’ll get to run it in the future – who knows?
So cool!!! 🙂
Isn’t it? It sounds like fun!
Yes!
Sounds like a fun event! Usually in ever run/race I’ve been in, in Nova Scotia…someone show’s up in a kilt!
Oh, really! I’m happy to hear that tartan is well represented in Nova Scotia! 😉
For a second I thought you’d sneakily decided to elope in NYC! I think this race should definitely be in your future.
I really hope so!
You will right back at it soon…dressing in scottish kilts and zombie outfits. For now, just concentrate on dressing in white for purity:)
Ha ha!!!! 😉
I want to run this right now!
I’ve wanted to run it since the weekend 😉
